About this excursion

The classic nine-kilometre plateau circuit, walked early enough to reach World's End before the cloud closes in. We detour for montane amphibians in the stream gullies and talk through why this ecosystem is both unique and under real threat. Cold and exposed at dawn — layers matter more than you expect.
